The price of Bitcoin (BTC) has dropped back below the $10,000 with the rest of the cryptocurrency markets, for the most part, seeing red as of today.

After clinging to a five-figure price for several days, BTC has seen a 3.2% drop in the past 24 hours. Currently, the OG cryptocurrency is exchanging hands at $9,768.86 as per data from CoinMarketCap.

Latest Ethereum (ETH) news and prices

The second-largest altcoin by market cap, Ethereum (ETH) has recorded similar losses. Currently, ETH is down by 3.3% on the day and changing hands at $207 at the time of writing. Ethereum was seen trading at $235 over the weekend, but since has for the most part been trading downwards. Today ETH is only trading slightly higher than it was at the start of its 7-day chart.

Latest Ripple (XRP) news and prices

Ripple’s XRP hit the recent high at $0.3414 on July 20. The sell-off ensued that took the price towards the current levels marginally above the critical $0.3000. The third-largest digital coin with the current market capitalization of $13.1 billion has lost nearly 4% of its value on a day-on-day basis and stayed mostly unchanged since the beginning of Wednesday. The coin is moving within a short-term bearish trend amid the sell-off on the cryptocurrency market.

Litecoin (LTC) news and prices

Litecoin (LTC) dropped below $90.00 handle and touched an intraday low at $86.74. The fourth-largest digital asset with the current market capitalization of $5.5 billion managed to recover towards $88.30 by the time of writing; however, it is still trading down 6% on a day-on-day basis and down 2% since the beginning of Wednesday.

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) news and prices

The gradual selloff in the cryptocurrency market has seen Bitcoin Cash press hard on possible support targets. In fact, the entire market is painted red on Wednesday BCH/USD correcting lower 3.23%.

The retreat from the hurdle at $340 has seen Bitcoin Cash price depreciated in value significantly forming a lower low pattern below the descending trendline resistance.  While $300 level held though most of the trading yesterday, the bears engaged full throttle gears sending BCH/USD below the key 21 Exponential Moving Average (EMA). The move further pressed down on $300 resulting in a dip under $285.

EOS news and prices

Following the 458 per cent upswing that started in early December 2018, EOS  retraced nearly 62 per cent after peaking at $8.65 on May 31.

Now that it has reached the 65 per cent Fibonacci retracement level on the 1-week chart, a hammer candlestick pattern seems to have been developed last week singling a potential reversal in the direction of the trend from bearish to bullish.

Binance Coin (BNB) news and prices

Binance coin (BNB) price failed to accelerate above the $32.00 resistance and started a fresh decline. BNB price broke the $30.50 and $30.00 support levels to enter a bearish zone. Moreover, there was a break below the $29.20 support and the price seems to be approaching the $28.00 support area.
